I think that he will choose the gate where the lady is and the poor princess would almost die of a heart break.He would not be so happy but would give thanks to his luck, he will mary her.The king would feel happy but when he sees his daughter, he feels and wishes nothing o tis would have happen.
What I think is that the princess's lover will open the gate where the lady is, because the princess would not want to see him eaten by the tiger. I also think that the king would be upset at her, but sometimes you need to do what you think is the right thing to do.
I believe the princess tells her lover to open the door with the tiger. Since she was very barbaric and jealous of the maiden whom her father had chosen, I think she would rather make that decision than to see his love with another woman. Either way, she would have had nothing to do with him after the arena, so I believe that she would have preferred to see him die than to see him with the maiden whom she did not like at all.
