Their are many differences between the cask of amontillado story and the movie. First of all the wives. In the story they dont mention any wives and in the movie they appear and both of them. Second, The house of Montresso was supposed to be alone in the story because everyone was at the carnival and at the movie their was a ball being hosted. Also when Montresso was putting the bricks since he didnt heard the jingles he threw the torch to Fortunato. Lastly since they didnt mentioned the wives in the movie it appeared that Montresso's wife had an affair with Fortunato.

Between the story and the movie of the cask of Amontillado their are some differences.First of all, the ending was different, because on the book the bad man, puts the antorch inside the cave before closing it, and in the movie, he just puts the brick to close it. Another difference, was that in the book the use antorches, and in the movie they use lamp through the way. Latly, in the book, Fortunado was chained to his foot and weist, and in the movie, Montreso, chains Fortunado to his hands and feet. So as we can see, there are some differences in the movie and books.

The mos relevant difference is that Fortunato had a relationship with Montressor's wife and; in the Montressor throws the torch into the prison when he doesn't hear Fortunato. In the movie he just closes the last brick with Fortunato screaming.

The Cask of Amontillado and the Tell Tale Heart movies are quite different from the stories. First of all, the man in the story of Tell Tale Heart appeared to be crazier in the story than in the movie, there was no niece involved, and the man did not work for the man with the evil eye as what happened in the movie. And second of all, in The Cask of Amontillado, Fortunato's screams could be heard through the walls even though they were granite, and like Valeria said, there was no wife in the story. However, they do have some similarities. Both the movies' and the stories' English is very sophisticated.

There are many differences between the movie and the story of "The Cask of Amontillado". The first different is the wives of Montresso and Fortunato. They didn´t appeared in the story only in the movie. Then, the house of Montresso was supposed to be alone and all the people outside in the carnival. And the last difference is that in the story said that Montresso before putting the last block he put inside the torch with fire and burn Fortunato. But in the movie shows that he never closed the wall and he never put inside the torch.

Their are 3 differences between "The Cask of Amontillado" the book and the movie.First of all, while we read the book they didnt mentioned both of the wives and they too didnt mention that Montressos wife was having an affair with the Fortunato and in the movie they did show both of the wives and the affair of Fortunato and the wife of the Montresso.Second it was supposed that the house of the Montresso was alone and the people were in the carnival not like we saw in the movie that the carnival or the ball was in Montresso's house. Last but not least in the book said that Montresso throws the torch to Fortunato and builds the wall with bricks and in the movie we saw that Montresso only builds the wall with bricks and leaves. So as we can see their are diferences between the book an the movie.

There are many relevant differences between the story "The Cask of Amontillado", and the film that we saw. First, in the story, it didn't say that Fortunato and Montressor had wives. Second, Montressor didn't finish putting up the wall that he was building to block Fortunato, and did not throw the torch inside, but in the story that we read, Montressor did finish the wall, and also put the torch inside, where Fortunato was. Finally, the last difference that the film and the story have is that in the film, the screams of Fortunato could be heard anywhere, even if it was granite. In the story, Fortunato's screams couldn't be heard. As we all know, there are not only differences between the film and the story, but there are also similarities.

There are several differences between the movie and the story of The Cask of Amontillado. The wives is one of them in the book they didnt appear but in the movie both men had wives. Also it seemed like Fortunato had an affair with Montresso´s wife. And in the book montresso put the torch inside, in the movie he just closed the wall with fortunato screaming and took the torch with him. Finally his house was supossed to be empty while in the movie there were a lot of people.
